Valencia Enterprises’ Center for Global Languages, a division of Valencia Community College, is pleased to announce the opening of a language camp for kids starting in June 2008. This new summer program is being offered in partnership with Hunter’s Creek Elementary School and is open to children entering grades 1 to 6. The focus of this camp will be to provide kids with a fun way to learn either Spanish or Chinese, or both!

In addition to language classes, the camp includes a wide range of activities to keep kids engaged and learning in the target language, including arts and crafts, dance, music, storytelling, games, fitness, and more! During the camp, kids will be practicing the language almost the entire time—immersing themselves in the language and culture of their choice. The camp will run for six weeks, and parents can sign their children up for one week or for the entire six-week session.
