Computer & Language Lab
NDE Computer Lab
Included in the IEP tuition is the opportunity for students to practice their speaking, listening, reading, and writing English skills in a computer lab. The lab is set up with 14 computers, where students can practice using the "New Dynamic English" (NDE) software. Highlights of NDE include:
- Lessons available for beginner through advanced levels.
- Lessons reinforce what is taught in the classroom.
- Students practice their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Students can work at their own pace.
- NDE records students' voices to help with pronunciation.
- Lessons include interactive videos, glossary, Help Screens, and an on-line study guide.
IEP Language Lab
All IEP students benefit from the opportunity to practice their English outside of the classroom in a language lab- at no extra cost! The IEP Language Lab is facilitated by an English teacher who guides students through the following activities:
- Pronunciation practice
- Vocabulary expansion
- Word games and puzzles
- Contests and group activities
The IEP Language Lab is offered once a week right after class. All IEP students are welcome!
